BMT Vacucell ECO Vacuum Ovens - MC000217


Vacucell ECO Vacuum Ovens are designed to be connected to a central vacuum source and feature a direct heat chamber that transfers heat via the patented Servotherm heat transfer shelves. The Vacucell is very useful for temperature-labile material or those that decompose easily as well as oxidation sensitive substances. These include powders and granules, but also for drying components and parts with complicated shapes with inaccessible hollows and threads. The device is especially useful in plastic processing, pharmaceutical applications, chemistry, electrical and a variety of other industries.

The direct heated 316 AISI stainless steel chamber allows precise heating and drying of samples to a constant weight. The operating principle is based upon drying in vacuum along with the additional feature for air displacement in the chamber with an inert gas. Standard equipment includes a 1.6”/40mm port, an input for inert gas connection and a needle valve for fi ne dosing. For safety and in the case of over pressurization, the Vacucell is designed with the Ventiflex door over-pressure release valve.

The ECO advanced Fuzzy logic (algorithm) controller assesses data from the process, such as chamber volume, operation temperature, humidity, or other controlled elements. After the start of the program, using specially developed software, the controller assesses the chamber load. Based on the information, it continuously adjusts the input values (intensity of heating, cooling, humidity, lighting, etc.) and optimizes the regulation process with the goal of minimizing the time for reaching the process parameters without overshooting the set points. In this way, it is possible to reach the programmed parameters in shortest possible time. This process also allows for maximum efficiency in power consumption. Simultaneously, the Fuzzy logic reduces recovery times after door openings.
