Globe Scientific Plastic Culture Tubes are molded from premium grade polystyrene (PS) for clarity or polypropylene (PP) for impact strength and stability to common acids, alkalis, and solvents. The dual position ribbed low density polyethylene (LDPE) cap provides either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples: leave the cap in the loose position for aerobic work, and in the sealed position for anaerobic cultures.
