The Iodine test paper detects available Iodine in solutions in increments of 0, 12.5, 25, & 50 ppm. Disinfection with Iodine occurs between 12.5 ppm and 25 ppm. This is an older method for sanitizing utensils and dishware used in the restaurant trade.
