Nylon (Hydrophilic)
Ideal for aqueous (non-acidic) or organic sample prep and HPLC, GC or dissolution sample analysis. With its excellent flow characteristics, very low extractable levels and mechanical stability, nylon offers the best combination of physical parameters to meet the most stringent analytical. The naturally hydrophilic, high protein binding and high dirt loading capacity of nylon are natural advantages.
Polyethersulfone (PES)
Specifically designed for the filtering and clarifying of aqueous solutions, these non-sterile PES syringe filters should be used whenever low binding and low extractables are required, especially in the sterilization of biological fluids, serum or tissue culture media additives.
Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)
Designed for efficient filtration and sample clarification. PVDF membranes provide excellent filtration performance with low protein binding, high flow rates, and broad chemical compatibility. They are ideal for aqueous, biological, and analytical samples where sample recovery and filtration efficiency are important.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
Designed for efficient filtration of solvents and aggressive chemical samples.
